About the game
Counter-Strike 2 is a team-based tactical shooter built around short, high-stakes rounds. One side attacks an objective while the other defends it, and the outcome of each round affects the money available for weapons and equipment in the next. Victory depends on positioning, timing, map knowledge and communication as much as individual aim.
Familiar competitive maps have been rebuilt for the newer engine, while responsive smoke and other visual changes affect how teams control space. Players must decide when to hold an angle, push together, save equipment or take a calculated risk. Each match creates a fresh sequence of economic choices and tactical adjustments. Practice can improve mechanical skill, but the team that reads its opponents and works together often gains the decisive advantage.
